Light a Candle
Christopher "Chris" Holly of Lebanon, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20th, 2020 at the age of 59. Chris was born May 19, 1961 to David Holly and Sarah (nee McGrath) in Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne and completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. He lived and worked in New Orleans, LA for many years as a chemist at the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. He is survived by his father, David Holly, and sisters, Danielle (Ron Gibson) and Heather (Dave Holland), Step-father, Daniel Carmona, and step brothers, Chris Carmona, and Anthony Carmona, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Barney. He is preceded in death by his mother Sarah Carmona and step-brother Daniel Carmona. Chris was very talented at music, guitar being his first love. He was also talented at art and drawing as well as digital art. He was a lifelong Saints fan and regarded New Orleans as his first home. He was a kind and loving brother and son, and had many good and caring friends and family who will miss him dearly. A memorial mass will be said for him at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr, Fort Wayne, IN, on September 3, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
